Following the recent departure of our friend and fellow member Victoria Frankland, SACC are pleased to announce that Gary Devlin, Sales and Marketing Executive will now be the face for the Radisson SAS at SACC events.

Gary joined the sales team at the Radisson SAS Hotel London Stansted Airport, in April 2008. Originally joining the Radisson SAS as a Meetings & Events Co-ordinator in October 2006,
Having organised a very successful Christmas party season, as well as the New Years Eve event of the year!, Gary's main responsibilities are looking after local business accounts and the hotels marketing, including all press and PR activities.
He has also worked in advertising for a local newspaper and studied Film, Radio & Television at university in Canterbury, where he also spent a year as Vice President Media & Services of the Students Union.
Gary said: "I am very much looking forward to becoming a the Radisson SAS Hotel's member of the Stansted Airport Chamber".
Stansted Airport today welcomed the unqualified and comprehensive rejection yet again of SSE’s attempts to overturn the Government’s decision to approve Stansted’s G1 planning application.
Nick Barton, Stansted Airport's Commercial & Development Director, said:
"We note the Secretary of State's decision to delay the start of Stansted G2 public inquiry, and will proceed as and when the Government decides that it is right to do so. This announcement does not alter the fact that new runway capacity is urgently required if the United Kingdom is to preserve its global economic competitiveness, and the case for a second runway at Stansted remains a strong one. In the interests of local people, we intend to keep our home owner support scheme (HOSS) open and continue to promote our special cases scheme, which gives consideration to those outside the boundary of HOSS, who might have exceptional reasons for moving early."
Stansted Airport welcomed touchdown of Air Arabia Maroc’s first direct connection from Casablanca, the tourist and economic capital of Morocco this morning, the fourth new route to join the airport’s network since the start of May.
